Business Development Manager Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive visitation and revenue growth through strategic partnerships and tourism channels.
This role involves cultivating and expanding relationships with trade partners, tour operators, wholesalers, and corporate clients - both domestically and internationally.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, ideally attractions experience, and have strong written and oral communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve annual sales targets across all domestic trade and tourism channels (including New Zealand)
* Develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and partner incentives
* Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships
* Maintain and grow key stakeholder relationships through regular engagement and strategic collaboration
Required Skills:
* Proven sales and marketing acumen with a deep understanding of tourism industry distribution models
* Results-oriented with strong strategic, tactical, analytical, and planning skills
* Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Dynamics365 and general computer literacy
* Demonstrated high level of customer service
* Effective communication skills across various levels of management and staff
