We're looking for a New Business Development Manager who shares our values and can help us grow by bringing on board new event organisers.
The position requires:
* At least 3 years of sales experience in technology, internet, ticketing or events sector.
* A highly professional communicator, ability to build relationships and develop opportunities across the breadth of the events sector.
* A passion for sourcing and winning new business - turning prospects into sales opportunities via own network and cold calling.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office's core suite of products.
* Hubspot experience viewed favourably.
Occasional interstate travel required to build relevant relationships, attend conferences and contribute to your central goal: winning great new clients, whose events we ticket.
Sales Strategies and Market Opportunities
* Develop sales strategies and identify new market opportunities.
* Pro-actively bring in new clients to maximise growth in ticket sales and revenues.
Competitor Analysis and Client Support
* Conduct and maintain analysis of competitors to enable us to pitch to prospective clients appropriately.
* Maintain and update leads contact records and account information.
* Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities and optimal use of our products and services.
Product Development and Representation
* Contribute to product development strategies by identifying market requirements and opportunities.
* Respond to incoming sales opportunities and product information requests.
* Attend trade shows & conferences to represent and showcase the company.
* P present company products and services in a structured, professional manner.
