About the Role
We are seeking a Site Supervisor with experience in civil infrastructure projects - the key experience we're looking for is in earthworks, land clearing, drainage and underground services, personnel management, and client relations.
You'll be managing all aspects of one or more Wormall projects located in the WA Southwest region (Australind to Margaret River).
It'll be your goal to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You'll work closely with project managers, Health & Safety, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.
Role Responsibilities:
* Supervising one or multiple projects simultaneously
* Managing construction crews of labourers, drainers, road builders, utility contractors, machine operators including selection and coordination of sub-contractors
* Organising materials & machinery and ensuring workforce, machinery & materials are in the right place, at the right time
* Allocate team member tasks and monitor work to ensure quality standards are always maintained
* Proactively manage site operations to ensure compliance to all practices, policies, procedures and in accordance with statutory and local Shire regulations
* Lead pre-start meetings and oversee machinery pre-start checks
* Any other site leadership requirements that may arise.
Requirements for the position:
* Relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects - subdivision exp. is highly regarded
* Australian/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Valid Drivers Licence
* Experience leading, motivating, and mentoring people
* Cert IV in Civil Construction (or currently undertaking)
* White Card / Construction Induction
* Able to use standard programs such as MS Outlook, Project, Excel, Word
* Must live in the Bunbury to Margaret river area
