Job Overview
An exciting new opportunity has come available to join our team as our Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This busy and rewarding role will see you oversee the maintenance services across all our sites.
You will ensure that sites are operating to legislative standards and operate to safety standards for our residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.
In addition, you will provide guidance and support to major projects such as new developments, major refurbishments, and upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Broad understanding of building and building services related legislation, regulations, and standards.
* Understanding of relevant workplace health and safety regulations and continuous quality improvement practices.
* Experience in the effective delivery of services through a broad contractor/subcontractor base and ensure the appropriate performance of contractors in the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality and on-time outcomes within allocated budgets.
* Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including strong stakeholder management skills and well-developed computer skills.
* Availability to work after hours on an 'On-Call' roster, or 'Call Out' basis.
