Job Summary
* As a skilled Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen adheres to the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meats, vegetables, and desserts. Present dishes in an attractive and visually appealing manner.
2. Menu Planning and Development: Work with our culinary team to plan and develop new menus that are both creative and delicious.
3. Team Management: Supervise and train other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
4. Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies on hand.
5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, attentive, and responsive to customer needs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts.
* 3+ years experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering company.
* Proven track record of creativity and innovation in menu planning and development.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
