Front Office Administrator – $35–$37.50/hr | Part-Time | Townsville

Are you a people-focused Administrator who enjoys being the face of a business? We’re currently recruiting for a Front Office Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution company based in Townsville.
This is a permanent part-time role, starting in October, with flexible working arrangements available. 28–32 hours per week, or a 9-day fortnight!
Your new role
This locally operated business has been a trusted supplier of high-quality insulation and building products across North Queensland for decades. Known for its strong team culture and commitment to customer service, the company plays a key role in supporting the region’s construction and industrial sectors.
As the first point of contact for customers and visitors, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the front office runs smoothly and professionally. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Answering and directing incoming calls
- Processing customer orders and data entry
- Coordinating dispatch and logistics
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a front office or administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- A friendly, professional approach to customer service
