Zendesk is seeking a positive, performance-driven individual for the position of Senior Partner Sales Executive for ANZ, based in Australia .
Job Description
As a Senior Partner Sales Executive, you will be part of a growing Partner Sales Team and play a critical role in the company's growth initiatives in Australia and NZ. Your responsibilities will include building, operationalizing, and owning the plan for partner-led and sourced business with the partners you manage.
You will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new partners, ensuring they meet revenue and profitability goals, and aligning with Zendesk’s strategy. This is a quota-carrying role requiring strong regional SaaS/software sales experience, channel development, and management of large partners. You will manage opportunities with partners and Zendesk Direct Sales colleagues, demonstrating proven channel expertise, quota achievement, a 'hunter' mentality, and passion for partner and customer success.
What You'll Do
* Recruit new partnerships extensively.
* Collaborate with Enterprise and Commercial sales teams to drive new bookings, expansion, and customer acquisition with partners.
* Enhance opportunity velocity with sales teams and partners.
* Promote SI partner and technology alliance capabilities within Zendesk sales teams, clearly articulating partner value propositions.
* Create and implement regional go-to-market strategies based on existing partner initiatives.
* Coordinate with regional marketing teams to fund partner-led campaigns and demonstrate ROI.
* Serve as the daily liaison between existing partners and Zendesk sales, developing initiatives to drive revenue.
What You Have
* Over 10 years of experience in partner channel development, sales, business development, or alliance management.
* Experience working with regional resellers, BPO consultancies, and technology companies.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with high executive presence.
* Understanding of customer value propositions for Zendesk solutions and best practices for partner monetization.
* Technologically savvy with a good understanding of tech.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to create new solutions.
* Proven ability to build relationships with internal sales teams.
* Experience presenting solutions and partner programs to partners and prospects.
* Previous experience carrying a quota.
