We are currently recruiting a Driver/Labourer to join the Street Cleansing Team – working in one of Sydney's most beautiful bushland areas, surrounded by a supportive, professional team and a council that truly values your contribution.
Working as part of a multi-skilled team, carrying out a wide range of public cleansing tasks across the shire.
Duties include:
* Operating MR street sweeper trucks or a Ute
* Litter and illegal dumping collection
* Cleaning of public toilets, bus shelters, and other council assets
* Use of leaf blowers, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment
* Ad hoc cleaning and maintenance of public spaces
* Following rotating monthly rosters including weekends
* This is an outdoor, hands-on role where you'll take pride in keeping the Hornsby Shire clean and welcoming for the community.
* Mon to Sun Monthly Roster (2 - 3 weekend shifts per month)

What we are looking for:
* Valid MR Driver's Licence
* Experience in labouring, street cleaning, or waste services (preferred)
* Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual work
* Ability to follow procedures, work in a team, and represent council positively
* Reliable, proactive and detail-oriented
