In this role, you will manage operational requirements to ensure plant and equipment is maintained to the highest standard and running efficiently, while focusing on safety. Maximising uptime is critical to ensuring we can deliver an efficient and reliable service to our customers.This role will also provide you with day-to-day variety and problem solving, while also incorporating long term planning projects as part of our preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.DutiesImplement and conduct fault finding and repairs to electrical and pneumatic systems.Assist Mechanical staff with repairs to Diesel and 12V equipment.Assist in developing and implementing solutions and strategies to ensure the timely and effective response to equipment failures and breakdowns.Perform electrical (including PLC diagnostic) repairs.Work with the maintenance manager to identify and implement plant improvements and future capital projects.Provide On Call support during shipping and harvest periods.Travel within the region assisting other teams as required.Execute the preventative maintenance program in line with terminal operations.About youAn Electrical workers licence Class A (South Australia)Willingness to learn bearing lubrication techniques.Competent in interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.Experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.Experience maintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment.Willingness to assist mechanical staff and learn new skills.Positive attitude and teamwork mindset.The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.Current driver’s licence is essential.You’ll be joining an established world-leading global agriculture company which has been operating in South Australia for more than 70 years, and benefit from:On call allowances plus additional payment when called in to attend site.Competitive remuneration package.Sign on bonus.Relocation assistance (if applicable).Tools of trade provided.Employee assistance programme – access to confidential and free support.Corporate health insurance funds and financial services.On the job and external training.How to applyTo apply for the position please click on ‘Apply’ at the bottom of the page or for further information please contact Maintenance Manager, Douglas Waye on 0477 553 509.Applications close 11:45pm Sunday 19 January 2024Please note we are not accepting recruitment agency applications at this time.These positions are available to those who have the unrestricted right to live and work in Australia.
