About the Role
The role involves providing expert advice on applications under various acts, including the Planning Act and Transport Infrastructure Act. This includes reviewing access, works management, development, and road infrastructure planning.
* Implement a risk management approach to formalise construction conditions for corridors and public utility entities.
* Coordinate road corridor permits to contain necessary conditions for third-party access and PUP entity installations within State-controlled roads.
* Ensure efficient road network operation with minimum environmental impact and high safety standards.
Effective time, cost, quality, and service standards management is essential in delivering works as per requirements.
Identify, investigate, and provide policy advice on corridor land management issues and processes.
Manage compulsory land acquisition, easements, title corrections, and native title rights.
Provide advice on property resumptions, early acquisitions, and land disposal.
