Occupational Therapist - Advanced
We're looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our occupational therapy department, you'll work with patients across various settings to deliver and supervise generalist occupational therapy clinical services.
Your responsibilities will include contributing to the advancement of quality occupational therapy services and optimal patient care through provision of clinical service, clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement, clinical education and research activities.
* Use your advanced level of knowledge and skills in one or more areas of occupational therapy to work across the entire adult spectrum.
* Provide clinical services of a complex nature, using research and evidence to inform practice and develop the profession.
* Develop high-level communication and problem-solving skills to provide clinical advice, clinical supervision and advocacy to professional and operational supervisors.
* Initiate and provide clinical leadership of staff and represent Occupational Therapy within Bundaberg Hospital.
* Maintain effective and efficient planning and organisation of clinical and non-clinical duties.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
