Electrical Engineer Graduate Role
Your Responsibilities
* Contribute to site-wide hazardous area compliance assessments and reviews.
* Assist in the design, development, and delivery of end-of-life electrical system upgrades.
* Collaborate with engineers on electrical protection assessments and arc flash studies.
* Lead capital projects such as PCS server upgrades, coal unloading system enhancements, and I/O improvements.
* Participate in modernising legacy systems, strengthening electrical reliability and efficiency.
* Engage with engineering teams and stakeholders across departments to ensure project outcomes meet technical, safety, and operational requirements.
* Begins in Railton, Tasmania, before rotating to Gladstone, Queensland in the second year.
About You
Qualifications and Requirements
* A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree or near completion thereof.
* An interest in complex infrastructure projects and hands-on problem-solving skills.
* A strong focus on detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
* The ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and contribute to high-impact initiatives.
* A willingness to develop expertise in compliance, systems modernisation, and protection systems.
* A proactive attitude, openness to feedback, and motivation to grow into a future leader.
* Flexibility to relocate for site rotations, with support provided for moves to Railton (TAS) and Gladstone (QLD).
