A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Procurement Business Partner to join an exciting organisation. This role will contribute significantly to the transformation and modernisation of procurement processes, with a particular focus on ICT and IT Security. It offers a chance to influence strategic procurement decisions, lead supplier negotiations, and drive value-for-money outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including technology and business teams, to align objectives and ensure effective procurement outcomes.
Leading negotiation efforts across diverse tenders, including high-value and high-risk procurements, particularly in ICT and digital service categories.
Developing and nurturing strong supplier relationships, helping both current and new suppliers build partnerships that support innovation, service excellence, and organisational goals.
Promoting the internal profile of procurement, working proactively with stakeholders across sourcing and contract management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
Analyzing supplier performance, spend, supply chain risks, and contract management practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, especially within the technology space.
What You Will Need to ApplyA minimum of 5 years of strategic procurement experience, ideally in public or commercial sectors.
Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, contract management, business, or a related field.
Excellent stakeholder management experience
A customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to delivering tailored, commercially sound solutions to both internal stakeholders and the wider community.
Proven understanding of the legal, financial, and commercial aspects of contracts.
Ability to commence at short notice.
