Overview
Provisional Psychologist / Rehabilitation Counsellor role at Procare Group. We are seeking passionate and driven Provisional Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellors to join our team across Metro Sydney in our Alexandria, Macquarie Park, Parramatta or Penrith offices.
Responsibilities
* Assist with an injured person's recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness
* Conduct a range of assessment and case management services across various customer portfolios
* Deliver counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
* Support people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge
* Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
Qualifications
* Provisional Psychologist (with AHPRA membership and external supervision in place)
* Rehabilitation Counsellor (with Full or Associate ASORC membership)
Requirements
* Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
* Minimum 12 months experience in a Psychology related role
* Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check
* Sound communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving
* Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach
* Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
