Description Full time Max Term – January 2026 Monday – Friday with a Monthly RDO Royal Military College – Duntroon ACT Our Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services – Defence business currently provides asset management, facilities management and large range of support to ADF site across Australia. We have an opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant to join the team. You will be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and working alongside our highly capable internal trades team, and Service Delivery Partners. Your role as a Trades Assistant will see you based at Royal Military College, Duntroon, delivering maintenance services to the various asset buildings. Your primary day to day responsibilities will include responding to reactive maintenance, with a focus on improving the longevity of fixed plant and equipment and assisting (where required) with preventative maintenance. ABOUT YOU General Handy man experience in All trades (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing) Electrical Test & Tag qualifications Construction White Card Forklift Licence (Desirable) Australian citizenship and eligibility for Defence TSPV security clearance. Strong teamwork skills and commitment to collaborative work environments. Proficient written and oral communication abilities. Class C Driver's Licence, ensuring mobility on-site. Dedication to achieving 100% compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards, contributing to a zero-harm workplace culture.
