Who We Are
At Pepper Money, we're dedicated to helping people succeed—whether it's buying a family home, a dream car, developing professionally, or growing their business. We've become one of the largest, most trusted, and award-winning non-bank lenders in Australia and New Zealand. Over our 26 years, we've achieved a lot, but our proudest accomplishment is helping over half a million Australians reach their goals with our ever-expanding lending options.
The Role
We're looking for someone with solid procurement experience, whether that's from financial services or another industry, who is curious, proactive and ready to take ownership of their work.
* Procurement & Supplier Management: Oversee supplier onboarding and renewals, enhancing current processes and controls, including completing Know Your Supplier (KYS) checks.
* Stakeholder Support and Engagement: Act as a trusted partner to Asset Finance, Mortgages and Operations, offering guidance and subject matter expertise on sourcing, compliance, financial value delivery and project requirements.
* Sourcing and Supplier Consolidation: Support stakeholders with sourcing and contracting aligned to agreed strategies. Use data insights to identify value opportunities and shape negotiation plans.
* Procurement Reporting Framework & Policies: Drive procurement process standardisation aligned to Pepper's technology roadmap. Contribute to improving contract management and Business Optix tools, with a strong focus on regulatory monitoring, reporting and compliance.
About You
We're looking for someone who has proven experience in procurement whether that's financial services or otherwise, as long as you're curious and want to take ownership of your work
* Strong Stakeholder & Communication Skills: You're confident building relationships, engaging with diverse teams, and communicating clearly across the business.
* Procurement Experience: Some background in procurement is ideal — whether that's exposure to sourcing, supplier engagement or procurement processes.
* Curious & Proactive Mindset: You enjoy asking questions, seeking better ways of doing things, and taking initiative to solve problems and add value.
* Contract Management Capability: Experience managing contracts would be highly beneficial and help you hit the ground running.
