About the role In this exciting opportunity you will: * Lead the delivery of the LAQ Renew project, ensuring it aligns with organisational goals and adheres to ePMO guidelines. * Develop and implement comprehensive project controls, including plans for project delivery, benefits realisation, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. * Oversee project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and manage vendor relationships to achieve project objectives within agreed timeframes and tolerances. * Monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring milestones and key performance indicators are met, and proactively address risks and issues as they arise. * Provide strategic advice and high-quality reports, briefing notes, and project documentation to the Project Board, executives, and stakeholders. * Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, supporting team members through performance management, feedback, training, and development. * Lead change management initiatives and ensure effective communication to facilitate a smooth transition to the new organisational strategy. * Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project success. * Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and contribute to the ongoing improvement of project management practices. About you To excel in this role, you will bring extensive expertise in project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt frameworks and tools to deliver complex strategic projects. You will have strong skills in governance, planning, risk management, and benefits realisation, ensuring organisational objectives are met effectively. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to convey complex information in plain English, supporting informed decision-making across technical and non-technical audiences. You will have a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and negotiate persuasively to achieve sustainable project outcomes. Additionally, you will demonstrate leadership competencies, including accountability, ethical decision-making, and the capacity to lead with focus and optimism in dynamic and complex environments.
