About the Role We’re seeking passionate, friendly, and proactive team members to join us as Guest Experience & Trail Officers at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. In this dynamic, guest-facing role, you'll play a key part in delivering unforgettable experiences both during the day at our Sanctuary and in the evening for our Astra Lumina night-time trail. By rotating through key touchpoints of the guest journey - from entry and ticketing to guiding guests along immersive trail environments, you’ll ensure every visitor receives a warm welcome, clear direction, and exceptional service. Whether you’re assisting with ticket sales, responding to guest inquiries, supporting crowd flow, or addressing unexpected situations, your goal is to help create a magical and safe experience for all. You’ll also support broader operations, including evening event preparation, commercial and hospitality service areas, light cleaning and path sweeping duties, and maintaining the overall presentation of guest areas. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a customer-focused mindset, a team-first attitude, and confidence in engaging with a diverse range of visitors. Experience in tourism, events, or hospitality is desirable. Additional qualities we’re looking for include: Friendly communication skills and a natural ability to engage with guests of all ages A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative First Aid training (or willingness to obtain), with confidence in supporting guest safety Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, including around native wildlife This is a casual role, with work available across daytime Sanctuary operations and up to four evening shifts per week (Tuesday to Saturday) during Astra Lumina event periods.
