Water Infrastructure Workshop Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Workshop Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Caboolture. As the standalone onsite Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of mobile plant and machinery to ensure they remain in safe and reliable working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on winders, associated cages, robotic cutters, and other specialised equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
* Coordinate parts ordering and inventory as required.
* Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
* Trade qualified Mechanic (light vehicle, heavy vehicle, plant mechanic, auto electrician, maintenance fitter, fitter and machinist, or similar).
* Basic Word and Excel skills.
* Safety focused with a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Current driver's licence (HR or higher desirable but not essential).
