We're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and are looking for a motivated individual to join our Grounds Crew team on Hamilton Island.
About the Role
This casual position involves:
* Providing exceptional customer service and consistently high standards of presentation
* Managing the movement of luggage and freight, ensuring accurate inventory and timely scheduling
* Assisting vessel crew with loading and unloading freight, luggage, and guests, maintaining clear communication with fleet and Port of Airlie radio
* Ensuring guest safety and satisfaction, adhering to operational procedures and Work, Health and Safety requirements
About You
The ideal candidate will be passionate, proud of their service, and willing to go above and beyond for our guests. They'll be a team player with a positive attitude, previous experience in a similar role, and ability to deliver professional service.
To succeed, you'll have:
1. Ability to work efficiently and proactively in an autonomous environment
2. High level of personal presentation and interpersonal skills
3. Excellent written and spoken communication skills
4. Self-motivation and ability to multitask competing priorities
5. Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
6. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and general computer-based administrative tasks
7. Confidence using technology and communication devices
* Minimum 1-year experience in a similar customer service role, with previous Porter/Reservations experience advantageous
* Experience in warehouse and procurement highly advantageous
* Valid manual driver's license required
* Own transport to/from Shute Harbour necessary
* First Aid qualifications highly desirable
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
