Our client, a leading commercial refrigeration company, is seeking an experienced Compliance, Health and Safety Officer for a part time role on Brisbane's Southside.
We are seeking dedicated and qualified, with great attention to detail and a passion for procedures and processes, to join a friendly busy work environment.
You will be responssible for
- Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment
- Ensure compliance to the external WHS Audit results
- Ensuring all subcontractors license's, insurances were compliant '
- Sending safety alerts and updates of onsite safety issues and concerns
- Managing a high volume of incoming calls in a professional manner
- Delivering safety issues and concerns via toolbox meetings
- Tagging and inspections of safety height equipment and keeping registers updated
- Updating of health and safety policies, systems of work and procedures
- Identifying hazards and risks to health and safety arising from the work
- Creating onsite WHS manuals for project managers and upcoming jobs
- Ensuring all electrical tagging of company and onsite use of tools were maintained
- Updating, maintaining inductions for all employee and subcontractors
Experience in HVACs industry or similar would be highly regarded.
