Job Summary
In this role, you will report to the Program Construction Manager - Landside. You will monitor that the contractor is compliant with project specifications and requirements.
Major Responsibilities
Planning / Productivity
* Coordinate activities with other disciplines or areas and technical representatives, as instructed by construction management to ensure program delivery priorities are maintained.
* Review all contractor submittals including construction schedules, costs, reports, and changes.
* Coordinate data for reports and forecasts, including summaries of construction progress and expenditure forecasts.
* Support and assist internal stakeholders regarding onsite project related activities and logistics.
Safety & Quality
* Actively monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements and encourage contractors to perform in a safe manner.
* Monitor work activities and the quality of work performed by the contractor.
* Coordinate service providers for technical inspections of the project contractor's works.
Education & Experience Requirements
* Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge & Skills
* Demonstrated experience in the successful management of major projects in the construction industry.
* Experience in airport projects or projects with substantial road and services interfaces.
* Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved and current knowledge of new methods of design and construction.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrable delivery of leadership and behavioural change within a large organisation and with outside organizations.
* Ability to influence and engage in a collaborative working environment with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining necessary levels of commercial awareness.
* Prior delivery partner or client-side project management experience is preferred but not essential.
