About therole
As siteSupervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading our dailyoperations at the Port Lincoln terminal, which serves as a keylogistics and export hub for grain across the Eyre Peninsula. Thisis a hands-on leadership position, perfect for someone who thrivesin a dynamic environment and has a strong operational mindset, witha passion for process improvement and safety.
You'll lead amulti-skilled team responsible for the efficient, safe, andhigh-quality storage and handling of bulk commodities. Fromcoordinating day-to-day activities to implementing long-termstrategies, this role will put you at the centre of regionaloperations and allow you to directly contribute to the success ofour growers and supply chain.
This roleoffers a rare combination of operational leadership, peoplemanagement, and strategic execution. Whether it's preparing thesite for peak harvest season, troubleshooting logistics challenges,maintaining compliance, or mentoring staff, every day will offervariety and purpose.
Duties
* Lead andmanage day-to-day operations at the terminal, ensuringall grain handling, storage, and loading activities runsmoothly, safely, and efficiently.
* Drive siteperformance by developing and implementing plans tomeet or exceed targets related to safety, productivity,quality, customer service, and compliance.
* Mentor andlead your team, fostering a culture of accountability,safety, and continuous improvement, while supporting staffdevelopment through coaching and training.
* Collaboratewith key stakeholders including growers, transportproviders, and regional leadership, to support logistics,customer relationships, and business goals.
* Own safetyculture on site, ensuring procedures are followed andimprovements are actioned to uphold Bunge's commitment toa zero-harm workplace.
* Manageinfrastructure and equipment, supporting assetmaintenance programs, identifying issues before they impactoperations, and ensuring business continuity.
* Supportseasonal operations by planning labour requirements,coordinating harvest intake, managing stock segregation, andmeeting key logistics deadlines.
* Monitor andreport on KPIs, offering insights and recommendingactions to improve performance.
* Assist ininitiatives, sharing ideas, participating in auditsand improvement projects, and occasionally travelling toprovide support.
Aboutyou
* Proven leadershipexperience in operations, ideally within grain handling,logistics, agriculture, or a similar industry.
* Strong focus onsafety, compliance, and operational best practices.
* Hands-on, practicalapproach with the ability to lead by example.
* Effectivecommunicator with strong interpersonal skills to manage teamsand build relationships.
* Skilled in planning,coordinating, and prioritising tasks in a dynamic, seasonalenvironment.
* Confidentproblem-solver with sound decision-makingabilities.
* Motivated,adaptable, and ready to take ownership of a key site in thesupply chain.
* Tech-savvy andcomfortable using operational and reportingsystems.
* Certificate IV inFrontline Management (or willingness to obtain) highlyregarded.
* Currentdriver's licence.
