Job Title: Principal Education Officer
About the Role:
The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Education Officer to join their team in the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Branch. The successful candidate will work closely with other teams and stakeholders to develop curriculum resources that support schools in implementing the Prep to Year 10 Australian Curriculum Version 9.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing written responses to policy positions and curriculum implementation
* Building stakeholder relationships across other CTL teams and branches, regions and schools
* Participating as part of a team to develop a range of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment resources
* Undertaking other duties as required to enable Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Unit objectives to be achieved
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Thorough knowledge of the Prep to Year 10 Australian Curriculum Version 9
* High level written communication and digital delivery skills
* Experience in facilitating the professional learning of a range of stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
