The Opportunity
Are you eager to start your career in logistics and parts? We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our Parts team at the Cavan branch as a Storeperson.
In this role, you'll be involved in the day-to-day coordination and logistics behind supplying quality parts to our valued customers. You'll get hands-on experience and support from a team that's invested in your success.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Picking and packing of parts orders
* Receiving & dispatching parts and equipment
* Loading and unloading of freight
* Performing quality control checks and audits
* Providing service to both internal and external customers for parts
* Maintaining computer records and stock figures
* Liaising with freight providers to ensure timely dispatch
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
* Some experience in a warehouse/stores or similar environment is a plus, but not essential
* A current forklift licence is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate
* Strong computer skills
* Ability to manage priorities, stay organised and deliver great customer service
* A commitment to safety and following safety procedures
