The role:
As the Store Manager at our City Beach Darwin store, you will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of store operations, whilst building, leading, and driving a high performing team, to ensure delivery on business objectives and key performance indicators. You will be required to lead, coach and motivate the team, recruit and retain talent, and ensure operational excellence within your store.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a supportive, high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales and KPI targets.
* Ensure prompt, quality service while managing customer enquiries, complaints, and complex sales situations.
* Oversee day-to-day store operations including rostering, wage control, stock management, loss prevention, and store presentation.
* Plan work schedules, assign duties, and balance labour to maximise profitability and customer experience.
* Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members, managing performance and staff matters as required.
* Maintain accurate inventory, pricing, stock ordering, returns, and visual merchandising standards.
* Review store performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* Champion company initiatives and retail projects in line with business objectives.
* Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant workplace by enforcing workplace health & safety security procedures, and company policies.
* Build capability and support ongoing development to grow future leaders.
What we are looking for:
* A base salary between $69,500 - $73,500 base + superannuation.
* 1+ years of experience in a customer service–focused management role.
* Experience in fast-paced retail, FMCG, or hospitality environments is highly regarded.
* Proven ability to drive sales performance and manage operations to achieve targets.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and hands‑on approach to store operations and team engagement.
