Heidelberg Materials Australia are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic leader to join the Concrete Operations team as a Concrete Plant Manager overseeing the Springwood and Lawson Concrete Plants.
In Your New Role
* Efficient day-to-day management of the operations in the area, including preparation of and management of costs within an agreed budget.
* Develop relationships with customers in the assigned territory through sales visits, phone and e‐mail contacts.
* Review customer orders for the next day(s) to ensure service levels, plant capability, capacity, raw materials and staffing to achieve the orders and prevent overbooking of work.
* Be conversant and always comply with the requirements of Heidelberg Materials policies and procedures.
* Work with the Sales Manager to ensure all quotations, contracts, credits and billing is complete.
* Ensure fixed and mobile assets are maintained in accordance with service intervals.
* Follow all safety requirements and lead with safety as your priority.
* Lead and develop the team and manage internal team performance.
* Run and manage toolbox meetings.
