Job Description
About the Role
This is a practical, physical role that plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy branch. You'll be responsible for keeping the yard and workshop areas tidy, functional, and safe - helping ensure equipment and machinery are ready for dispatch and that incoming stock is properly received.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Managing the general appearance, order, and cleanliness of the yard and workshop areas
* Ensuring all equipment is prepared for transfers and deliveries
* Safely receiving and storing incoming machinery and attachments
* Supporting the workshop team with basic tasks
* Assisting with other general branch duties as needed
* Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to company procedures
What We're Looking For
* A current Forklift Licence (essential)
* Previous experience in a similar yard, workshop or logistics role
* A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
* Basic mechanical aptitude
* A dependable and self-motivated approach
* Someone who takes ownership and pride in their work
