Where you’ll be working
Located in the vibrant beachside city of Newcastle, John Hunter Hospital is one of NSW’s largest teaching hospitals, currently expanding with the development of a new Acute Services Building. On F3, you’ll join a cohesive, energetic, and collaborative team dedicated to providing safe and efficient care for patients requiring cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery.
About the role
As an Enrolled Nurse on F3, you’ll provide care for patients throughout their journey from admission to discharge. Every shift brings opportunities to develop and expand your skills, including:
- ICC and drain management
- Complex and easy wound care
- Medication administration
- Telemetry and observation tools
- Pain and symptom management
This is a 7-day rotating roster role, with a supportive NUM who understands the importance of work/life balance and will help where possible with personal and professional commitments.
