About the Role
As a contracts administrator, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery across cost, time and quality targets. Working closely with the project manager and commercial manager, you will manage upstream and downstream contract administration for goods, materials and services while ensuring compliance with ULG standards, legislation and best commercial practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage all contract administration activities for the project.
* Prepare accurate, ontime payment claims in line with head contract and security of payments legislation.
* Review and coordinate subcontractor payment claims and variations.
* Monitor contract securities, insurances, claims and variations.
* Administer subcontract agreements to ensure delivery against cost, quality and schedule targets.
* Coordinate with project, design and construction managers to ensure ontime delivery of goods and services.
* Support monthly internal and external project reporting (e.g., scurves, earned value ratios, productivity).
* Conduct preliminary commercial evaluation of subcontractor tenders.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in contracts administration or a similar position within the resources / construction sector.
* Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience desirable.
* Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* High resilience, problem‐solving ability and a proactive approach.
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
* A positive, customer‐focused, team‐oriented attitude.
