About the Role
We have opportunities to provide one-on-one lifestyle support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required. We also offer roles in our Day Program, which caters to the interests and abilities of our clients and often includes social outings, recreational and leisure activities whilst encouraging positive social participation and community integration. Shifts will be during daytime hours Monday to Sunday.
We have casual and permanent part time hours available, minimum 30 hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients with complex medical and behavioural needs requiring high-level daily care
Implement behaviour support strategies aligned with individual support plans
Facilitate inclusive community-based activities to promote social engagement
Transport clients using a company van
Assist with personal care (including toileting and showering), mobility, and manual handling
Empower clients to find their strengths and promote independence
Respond to changing routines and support needs in volatile environments
Skills & Experience
An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Pay rates starting from $34.58 (part-time) or $43.23 (casual)
Do the work you love during daytime hours only - no overnight or late-night shifts
Work in a range of settings, including clients' homes, in the community and at our day program centre
