**About this position**
The City has four libraries in Thornlie, Gosnells, Southern River and Beckenham. The Library Service is part of the Leisure and Culture Branch that includes the City's aquatic and recreation centre Leisure World, Don Russell Performing Arts Centre and Heritage Services, including the Wilkinson Homestead Museum.
We are seeking a skilled librarian to oversee the provision of library services, resources and activities, ensuring high-quality service and support to the community. This role involves supervising a diverse team of up to 10 staff, managing day-to-day operations, maintain branch collections and supporting the Coordinator Library Services in strategic initiatives.
The City's Library Service is open seven days per week. Applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends as required.
