About the Role
The Fundraising, Partnerships and Brand Manager is a newly established national leadership role within RSL Australia's National Office, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Working closely with the CEO, the National Board, and cross‐functional teams, this role will lead the development of a national fundraising and partnerships strategy, build new revenue channels, and embed robust commercial and donor‐focused processes across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial and fundraising professional with a demonstrated track record in strategic partnerships, project management, and brand‐aligned donor engagement. You will be a collaborative operator who understands that working within a federated organisation requires consultation, influence, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a long‐term development strategy including major gifts, bequests, and regular giving.
* Design and deliver a national partnerships strategy and work collaboratively with the National Board to establish strategically aligned KPIs and revenue targets.
* Lead the development and delivery of national fundraising campaigns.
* Partner with the Communications team to design and execute marketing initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, philanthropic partners, corporate stakeholders, and sector collaborators.
* Prepare high‐quality reports and insights for the National Board, including analysis of fundraising and partnership performance.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and best‐practice standards and oversee the implementation and use of a CRM system.
What You Will Need (Selection Criteria)
* Minimum five (5) years' experience in a Fundraising, Partnerships and Brand Manager role or comparable senior fundraising/commercial position.
* Proven ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Highly developed communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage credibly across stakeholder groups.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast‐paced environment with competing priorities.
* Experience reviewing, negotiating, and managing partner contracts and commercial agreements.

What You Will Need
* A minimum of a Diploma in Surveying (or a higher qualification).
