As an ESI Training Technical Specialist, you will take pride in supporting and mentoring learners, utilise your technical knowledge to help design and deliver training and instil a positive safety culture. Whilst dedicated to working with our contractors for the project, you will need to be adaptable to assist in the training of our regular workers from time to time.
A Tool of Trade vehicle is provided as part of this role, to get you to and from work and to utilise during the day as you travel.
About you
First and foremost, you must be a qualified Transmission Lineworker (live line authorised) with a valid Tasmanian Practitioners Licence (or have the ability to obtain) and possess the following attributes –
A working knowledge of UET***** Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead package
Ability to be involved in maintaining and developing technical training content
A commitment to promoting a culture of safety and not afraid to speak up where required
Motivated to broaden skills and keen to learn more about themselves within workplace training and assessment
Desire to be an industry expert to assist the delivery of training as a trainer and / or assessor
Additionally, you will hold a current TAE qualification or be willing to obtain.
Whilst this role is predominantly based in the south at our RTO, you will need to be flexible to the need to travel often, as the NWTD project is based in the NW of the state.
