OverviewManager Network Services - Fixed Term until Dec 2026We are currently looking for an Influential Leader for a Fixed Term Contract until Dec 2026, who will empower and develop the team to achieve its goals and deliver outstanding service to the RBA.
You'll be also responsible for operational excellence, service delivery, people management and governance of modern IT Infrastructure teams, with specific domain expertise and experience in IT Network Services.Do work that makes a differenceResponsibilitiesCreate a RBA values aligned culture, enabling an environment for high levels of staff engagement, enablement and achievementLead a team in developing innovative capabilities spanning network, converged infrastructure and hybrid cloudLead improvements in monitoring and automation across the Bank's networksIdentify and lead the evaluation and implementation of improvements to continually improve the robustness of the Bank's communications servicesIdentify and respond to issues, risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate processes and resources are in place to deliver technology solutions that are consistent with agreed service levelsEnable and recognise employees' performance in a way that encourages continuous improvementContribute to the improvement of policies, systems and processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and disciplined documentationAccountable for delivery of business service level commitments and measurement of performance, including continuous availability of network servicesAccountable for asset management, lifecycle, obsolescence & capacity planningOwnership of IT Network Services governance & compliance to the Bank's policies and proceduresEnsure multiple layers of incident response capability are available to the Bank for continuous management of IT Infrastructure operational issuesWork to simplify, rationalize & improve services to address the current and future needs of the BankWork to implement Agile methodologies and rituals across the teamSkills and ExperienceDegree qualification and up to date industry accreditations including ITIL and CiscoA history of involvement in leading and driving innovative capabilities and continuous improvement spanning network, converged infrastructure and cloudExperience of leading, developing and motivating IT Infrastructure and Operations teamsBroad knowledge of industry standards and understanding of IT policies and processesDemonstrated ability to monitor and guide activities throughout service delivery and project lifecycles, including measurement and complianceDemonstrated ability to own and communicate responsibilities in relation to health, safety and wellbeing, including psychological wellbeingDemonstrated ability to effectively manage risks and issues to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Bank's information systemsExtensive experience in delivery of large scale, mission critical IT network operationsExperience in Enterprise IT Network technology and Hybrid CloudAdvanced knowledge of IT Network services covering data, voice and videoOutstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skillsEquity, Diversity and InclusionThe Reserve Bank of Australia is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion through key initiatives.
