Job Overview:
As a Field Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to operate plant and equipment, conduct repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain water and sewer assets to ensure reliable services.
* Process and report on current 'Bridge Actions' relating to the Field Maintenance Services Team.
* Support Network Technicians and step into higher duties when required.
* Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and organizational policies.
* Continuously improve processes and contribute ideas to optimize operations.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external service providers.
Requirements:
* Strong customer focus and communication skills to resolve inquiries effectively.
* Experience in practical, hands-on work in operational environments within utilities or similar industries.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
* A commitment to safety and a positive work culture.
* Licenses, such as First Aid, Confined Space, or Forklift certification (preferred but not essential).
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers License (required).
