We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused professional to fill the role of Administration and Sales Support Assistant.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, reliability and enthusiasm, with prior accounting or bookkeeping knowledge an advantage.
This part-time or casual position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in Wollongong, leveraging Xero and Microsoft Office to manage accounts and sales support duties with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping, invoicing and reconciliation
* Processing job cards and accounts payable
* Price negotiation and ordering consumables and materials
* General administrative tasks and ad-hoc office duties
* Handling inbound enquiries
* Preparation of quotes, blogs and reports using existing templates
* Assistance with producing marketing materials
* Work on campaign management
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* A high level of interpersonal skill, initiative, reliability and enthusiasm
* Prior accounting or bookkeeping knowledge (accounts payable officer)
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work to deadlines, follow procedures and improve them where possible
* Effective utilisation of computer equipment and software in the performance of duties (Xero, Microsoft Office)
* Problem-solving & analytical skills
* The ability to complete tasks & work with minimal supervision within a supportive and collaborative Team
Bonus points: Industrial background experience is considered advantageous but not essential.
