About the Role
As an Audit Manager, you will report directly to the Audit Directors and be responsible for:
* Leading the team audit process and supporting the Directors in their decision-making.
* Developing strong relationships with clients to ensure seamless audits and identify potential risks.
* Planning and managing full-cycle client engagements across various industries.
* Managing workflow and reviewing the work of junior team members.
* Coaching and mentoring junior auditors to enhance their technical skills.
* Leading and inspiring the team through seasonal ebbs and flows.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE AS AN EXTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER IN AUSTRALIA.
* A reputation as an effective manager and team leader.
* Tertiary qualifications, including being CA or CPA qualified.
* In-depth knowledge and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
* Strong understanding of Australia Auditing Standards.
* High level of experience and knowledge in reviewing Financial Statements.
* Exceptional time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple client engagements.
* Passion for coaching junior auditors and ongoing commitment to personal development.
You should be comfortable working at a fast pace, enjoying diversity in your team, and traveling to our clients' locations in Perth and regional WA, Northern Territory, Christmas Island, and Cocos Island.
