Role Purpose:
We are looking for a truly outstanding Night Auditor to join our collaborative team at Crystalbrook Byron in a part-time role 4 nights per week. Your auditing skills and attention to detail go without saying, as does your passion for people and creating extraordinary guest experiences. You will work effectively in a small team and be the type of person who thrives in a varied position whilst being self-accountable.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Night Manager in handling emergency situations and incidents at night
* Auditing the current day trading transactions and ensure that they are properly balanced and posted
* Exceeding guest needs as they occur during the night shift
* Accurately identifying any discrepancy which exists between revenue and payments
* Performing security walks throughout the night
* Performing system back-up and maintenance programs and procedures
* Delivering our Service Excellence guiding principles
* Providing hands-on support in Front Office and other outlets across the hotel as needed
Skills and experience:
Your many talents will include:
* A love of crunching numbers
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles
* Understanding of PMS (Opera preferred)
* Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
* Previous experience working at night
* Previous experience working within a Hotel environment
* Common sense approach
* A calm approach in challenging and emergency situations
* Available for 11pm-7am shifts; possible weekends
