An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Social Worker who will deliver high level Senior Social Work clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS). Community Allied Health (CAH) aims to prevent morbidity associated with chronic and complex conditions, prevent hospital admissions, reduce length of stay and prevent premature admission to Residential Aged Care. Key Responsibilities include * Deliver independent high level Social Work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence. * Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery. * Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Social Work practitioners and students as delegated. Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $157,359, comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary part time for six months, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
