The Personal Bank Legal team works closely with NAB's Home Ownership Domain to help drive simplification of the end-to-end home lending journey. The team also works closely with NAB's Everyday Banking Domain to assist with developing world class products covering transaction and savings accounts, personal loans and credit cards.

Responsibilities
* Advise on product and process simplification initiatives to make both Domains faster, more resilient and more customer focused.
* Advise on new product initiatives to delight customers and support business growth.
* Deliver accurate, strategic and timely legal advice to ensure that business initiatives are delivered safely and in line with regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrate a passion for customers to help drive better customer experiences and outcomes in relation to personal banking products.
* Identify process improvements and efficiencies to uplift our ways of working.
Qualifications
* Minimum 8 years PQE as a lawyer at a legal firm or in-house
* Bachelor of Laws qualification and admission to legal practice in Australia
* Demonstrated experience in advising on financial services regulatory matters (including National Consumer Credit Protection Act and/or Corporations Act requirements) essential
* Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and partnering approach
* Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation and time management
