Inventory Manager
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Regional Inventory Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a regional inventory strategy that aligns with CSR's principles to optimise stock levels and performance.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in inventory management or a related role, strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a regional inventory strategy to optimise stock levels and performance
* Lead a team to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic alignment across our supply chain
* Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistical challenges
* Drive continuous improvement in state inventory practices to enhance CSR's competitive edge
* Monitor and report on inventory performance, including KPI tracking, turnover, stock accuracy, and cost management
Requirements:
* Proven experience in inventory management or a related role
* Leadership skills, ability to build high-performing teams, recruitment, coaching, and performance management
* Strategic thinking, ability to formulate strategies that drive commercial value and supplier efficiency
* Regional expertise, familiarity with state-specific regulations, supplier networks, and logistics
* Lean principles, knowledge of Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S) and history of driving continuous improvement
* Analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis and warehouse management software for forecasting and trend identification
* Communication skills, exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
