A market leader in the manufacture and distribution of premium home appliances globally is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager.
With a proven track record in consumer goods or other field-sales industries, you will be looking for the next step in your career and eager to receive training and perform in a professional, retail-facing sales role.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct meetings with agents to review business status, provide sales development updates, and ensure products are fully merchandised in a timely manner.
* Monitor market competitor activities to identify business opportunities and assist marketing/product teams.
* Regularly conduct training for agents and perform account representation duties.
* Establish customer-specific business development plans and advise on corrective actions or activities to maximize company objectives.
* Provide regular business performance updates to Senior BDM, including monthly Call Cycle reporting.
* Assist in resolving consumer and customer issues in collaboration with the after-sales and service teams by providing relevant information.
* Conduct quarterly stock takes with relevant agents within the state/territory.
