We're a small firm in the inner suburbs with a team of 4. Our Principal/Director, a graduate, and two admin staff, and we're looking to add an extra full-time accountant due to our rapid growth to free our director to get off the tools. We were established in 2017 and have grown with our local clients and youthful vibe to be a lot bigger than we can handle just on our own.Ideally, you'll have 3-5 years of experience as a minimum and be completed or working towards completion of your CA. Our software stack is Apple-based, predominantly Xero and BGL. A large part of the work in this role will be for SMSF accounts for clients mainly in the accumulation phase with property investments. SMSF experience and familiarity with BGL would be highly valued, but attention to detail and a willingness to learn could overcome that for the right candidate.In addition to SMSF, we do a lot of work with SMEs in company or trust entities or smaller sole trader businesses, and some ITRs. This is a compliance-focused role, so knowledge of super deductions and rules, as well as Div 7A and other tax settings, will be necessary.On offer is a salary circa $100k plus super (depending on experience), flexibility with working from home (particularly post-probation), but while you are in the office, we can offer a bright space with a large desk, plenty of natural light and fresh air, close to public transport (train and tram), and off-street parking.
