Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) – Beechboro WA
Join us as a Home Tutor Volunteer and help adult migrants build their confidence in English—one conversation at a time.
Students live all over the Perth metropolitan area, but we especially need volunteers who are able to travel to the following areas to meet students:
* Ellenbrook
* Morley
* Beechboro
* Yanchep
* Nollamara
You will receive ongoing support and have access to a range of learning materials and resources.
Responsibilities
* Meet with a student once a week (12 hours) at their home, online, or in a local public space
* Support them in improving everyday English skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing
You\'ll receive full training, access to a wide range of resources, and ongoing support from our team.
The Volunteer application process is online. Prospective volunteers need to visit our website, where there is a link to apply (northmetrotafe.wa.edu.au/amep-volunteer-tutor-scheme).
