The Role
We a looking for a full time Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef at our Lakeside Restaurant located at our Karri Valley Resort.
What you'll have:
4. A formal qualification in commercial cookery
5. Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
6. A thorough understanding of Food Safety principles and Workplace Health & Safety
7. Highly effective verbal communication skills
8. Availability to work weekends and public holidays
9. Willingness to obtain a Police Clearance
Key responsibilities include:
10. Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and equipment
11. Ensuring all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presenting a variety of dishes
12. Liaising with front of house and management regarding customers and general service of kitchen operations
13. Supervising and training cooks and kitchen staff
14. Cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting all kitchen areas.

Karri Valley Resort is located in the beautiful South West region of WA. The resort is located on the edge of Lake Beedelup and surrounded by Karri trees in the Beedelup National Park. The resort is 15 minutes from Pemberton and 3 hours 45 minutes south of Perth.
Our Lakeside Restaurant at RAC Karri Valley Resort is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week and our menu centres around the food and wine from the Great Southern Forest region.
