Job Title: Registered Nurse - Clinical Coach, Practice Experience Programs
A clinical coach is required for a part-time day worker position to supervise and support nursing students in their clinical practice experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides clinical coaching and supervision to undergraduate enrolled and registered nursing students, re-entry to practice nurses, and transitioning nurses.
* Guides safe and quality nursing care through the support, coaching, and supervision of learners in direct patient care.
* Undertakes clinical assessments and provides feedback to learners on goals and standard of practice against stipulated performance criteria.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to act as a supervisor to nurse/ student learners in the clinical practice setting.
* Knowledge and understanding of assessment of clinical practice against the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards for practice.
* Ability to apply clinical knowledge, skills, experience, problem solving, and critical thinking in the provision of nursing care to achieve best patient healthcare outcomes.
