Job Title: Waste Management Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team at the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering essential waste services to our community.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Council plant and equipment, with a focus on loader, water truck, hooklift truck, and landfill compactor operation. This will involve undertaking waste management duties, including managing the disposal of municipal, construction, and demolition waste, as well as contaminated waste. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to implement and monitor soil, leachate management, stormwater, sediment, and pollution control measures, as well as site rehabilitation works and site safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current Class HR Driver's Licence
* General Construction Induction Training Card
* National Certificates of Competency - Forklift (LF) (Desirable)
Benefits:
* A remuneration package of $2,000,000 gross per fortnight
* The opportunity to progress to $3,000,000 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%)
* Six (6) week rotating roster, working one (1) weekend out of every six (6) weeks
* Penalty rates applicable for hours worked on weekends
