Details: Are you a finance professional who thrives on precision, influence, and impact?
Join us as a Senior Finance Officer - Financial Reporting (ASO6) and play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting and statements.

As a Senior Finance Officer, you will work alongside a team of finance professionals to deliver the Directorate’s annual financial statements, assist with month end activities, provide support and technical accounting advice to stakeholders across our organisation, and contribute to ongoing improvements to our financial processes and systems.

Your work will help ensure sound financial management of a ~$1.2 billion annual budget which supports the delivery of homelessness, public housing, child and youth protection, and health services across the Territory.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:

* Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance and membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia are highly desirable.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 March 2027 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
