We're seeking an organised, detail-focused Part-time Scheduler to join our NDIS Support Services team. In this role, you'll play a
critical part in ensuring reliable, participant-centred supports across SIL,
Community Participation, and Community Activities.

About the Role

Reporting to the NDIS Support Services Manager, the Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining
efficient, participant-focused rosters while supporting workforce wellbeing and
operational sustainability. This role is remote Monday to Friday from
15:00–20:00, aligned to operational needs.

Initial training will commence from our Head Office in Midland and occur
outside standard rostered hours (e.g. 09:00–14:00) to ensure you receive full
support and feel confident in the role.

You will work closely with Operations, People & Culture,
and Support Workers to proactively manage coverage, respond to change, and
continuously improve scheduling outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop,
maintain, and adjust participant-centred rosters across programs
* Publish
rosters at least two weeks in advance wherever possible
* Manage
cancellations, changes, and short-notice coverage professionally and
calmly
* Support
Area Managers with planned leave, training shifts, and future workforce
planning
* Monitor
roster efficiency, utilisation, and overtime trends
* Ensure
rostering practices comply with SCHADS Award, NES, and organisational
rules
* Maintain
accurate scheduling data to support payroll, compliance, and NDIS claiming
* Provide
clear handovers between AM, PM, and on-call coverage
* Contribute
to continuous improvement through reporting and insights

Performance & Accountability

Success in this role is measured by:

levels of shift coverage and reliability

response to calls, cancellations, and roster changes

and sustainable scheduling practices
* Accurate
documentation and compliance with participant plans
* Contribution
to continuous improvement and innovation in scheduling practices

About You

Essential:

* Experience
in scheduling, rostering, or workforce coordination
* Sound
understanding of the SCHADS Award and National Employment Standards
* High
attention to detail with strong planning and organisational skills
* Ability
to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong
communication skills and a collaborative working style
* Proficiency
in Microsoft Office (Excel skills highly regarded)
* Ability
to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team

Desirable:

* Experience
in disability or community services scheduling
* Understanding
of NDIS funding and its impact on workforce planning
* Qualifications
or training in Workforce Management, Business, or Analytics
